    Mega Leung is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (R.C.C.) and a Certified Trauma Treatment Specialist (C.T.T.S.). She obtained her B.A. in Psychology at the University of British Columbia and her M.A. in Counselling Psychology at Trinity Western University in 2003. Over the past years, she has worked in correctional and community settings to assist individuals, couples, and families. Mega specializes in working with individuals with personal injury, chronic pain, incidental and relationship traumas, Anxiety and Depression and offers Critical Incident Debriefing to workplaces and individuals. Mega also has extensive experience in working with individuals with marital and family relations, work/family balance, workplace issues, life transitions, cultural adjustment, relationship and personal development. 

    Mega is a qualified therapist in providing  EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) treatment and OEI (Observed & Experential Integration) therapy. These specialized therapies are particularly effective in addressing post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression and other mental health related issues.

    On a personal note, Mega immigrated to Canada from Hong Kong with her parents and siblings at an early age and had received most of her education in Canada.  She embraces both the Eastern and Western cultures and their influences to her development and values.  Mega understands the benefits and challenges unique to individuals living and raising a family with more than one cultural influence.

    Spirituality and Faith play an important role in Mega's life. She is determined to live a purpose driven and meaningful life as well to enjoy the blessings life brings. One of her life aspirations is to bring healing and hope to others through counselling. Outside of work, she enjoys new adventures and exploring new interests. She also enjoys engaging in philosophical thinking and tends to be amused by her observations of little things in life.
